Discover Châtel!
Our chalets aren’t located in the heart of the village, and that’s exactly what makes them so charming. Just three kilometers from the center, you can enjoy complete tranquility and the surrounding nature, without ever being cut off from anything: it’s a three-minute drive, about twenty minutes on foot along the Route de la Dranse, and the free shuttle stops right at the chalets.
Once you’re there, you’ll find everything that makes a real mountain village. Food shops, a bakery, equipment rentals, sunny outdoor cafes, a weekly market, and the Forme d’O aquatic center for your days off. Châtel has retained its intimate size and Savoyard architecture, a far cry from resorts that spring up overnight. You’ll run into year-round residents there; you’ll quickly recognize familiar faces, and it’s a pleasant experience.
